Biography
Reginald Barlow (17 June 1866 – 6 July 1943) was an American stage and screen character actor. Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, he began performing as a child in his father's minstrel troupe and appeared in numerous Broadway productions from the 1900s to the 1930s, including roles in The Queen's Husband (1928) and The Silent Witness (1931). He also directed stage productions and worked as a film director early in his career.
Barlow became a busy performer in Hollywood films of the 1930s, often in uncredited or supporting roles as authority figures such as judges, officers and professors. His credits include Horse Feathers (1932), King Kong (1933), Bride of Frankenstein (1935) and Tower of London (1939). He appeared as the Stage Manager in One Night of Love (1934).
