Biography

Richard Lineback is an American actor born on 4 February 1952 in Frankfurt, West Germany. He began his career in theatre, joining the Colony Theatre Company in Burbank in 1975. His stage roles have included Tom Joad in The Grapes of Wrath and the title role in Mister Roberts; he won a Drama-Logue Award for Outstanding Actor for his performance as C.C. Showers in The Diviners.

Lineback made his film debut in Joni (1980). He is known for supporting roles in films including Speed (1994) as Norwood, Natural Born Killers (1994) as Sonny, Twister (1996) as Mr Thornton, and Friday the 13th: A New Beginning (1985) as Deputy Dodd. His television work includes guest appearances in series such as MAS*H, Star Trek: The Next Generation (as Romas), Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (as Selin Peers) and Star Trek: Enterprise (as Kessick), as well as two episodes of JAG.
