Biography
Richard Lintern is an English stage, voice and screen actor. Born in Taunton, Somerset, he studied English Literature at Durham University before winning a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He has performed extensively in the West End and at the Royal National Theatre, as well as with the Royal Shakespeare Company and other UK theatres.
On screen, Lintern has appeared in films including The Bank Job (2008) and Cassandra's Dream (2007), and in television series such as Top Boy (2011) as Peter Stenton, The Crown (2016) as Stephen Ward, Death in Paradise (2011) and Midsomer Murders (1997). From 2013 to 2020 he played Dr Thomas Chamberlain in Silent Witness. He is also a voice-over artist and narrator of documentaries.
