Biography
Richard Nord is an American film editor. He trained at Queens College and New York University Tisch School of the Arts, and began working in the industry in the early 1980s as an assistant editor on several Woody Allen films, including Zelig (1983), Broadway Danny Rose (1984), The Purple Rose of Cairo (1985) and Hannah and Her Sisters (1986).
Nord has edited numerous feature films. His credits include Passenger 57 (1992), Species II (1998), 11:14 (2003) and The Last Full Measure (2019). He was one of the editors on The Fugitive (1993), for which he received Academy Award, ACE Eddie Award and BAFTA nominations for Best Film Editing.
