Biography
Richard Warwick (born Richard Carey Winter) was an English actor. He was born on 29 April 1945 in Meopham, Kent, and died on 16 December 1997 in London. He made his film debut in Franco Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet (1968) as Gregory and appeared as Wallace in Lindsay Anderson's If.... (1968). Other film roles include Grand Duke Dmitry in Nicholas and Alexandra (1971), Justin in Sebastiane (1976), and John in Jane Eyre (1996).
On television, Warwick had recurring roles in the sitcom Please Sir! and as Phil in A Fine Romance (1981–1984). He also appeared in The Last of the Mohicans (1971) and other series and television films. His career spanned screen, stage and television from the late 1960s to the mid-1990s.
