Biography
Robert Simonds is an American film producer and the founder, chairman and CEO of STX Entertainment. He produced The Wedding Singer (1998) and earlier films including several Adam Sandler comedies such as Happy Gilmore (1996) and Big Daddy (1999).
Simonds graduated from Yale University. He later served as executive producer on films including The Gentlemen (2019), Greenland (2020), The Edge of Seventeen (2016), Bad Moms (2016) and Molly's Game (2017). He has been credited on more than 30 studio films that collectively generated billions of dollars at the box office.
