Biography
Roberto De Angelis is an Italian cinematographer and camera operator. Born on 27 July 1970 in Rome, he has worked extensively in the camera department on international feature films.
He is credited as a cinematographer on the 2017 documentary Faces Places, directed by Agnès Varda and JR, and served as director of photography on Ambulance (2022). De Angelis has also worked as a Steadicam and camera operator on films including Avatar (2009), Baby Driver (2017) and Ferrari (2023).
In 2018 he received the Camera Operator of the Year award from the Society of Camera Operators for his work on Baby Driver.
