Biography
Roger Murray-Leach (born 25 June 1943) is a British production designer. He trained as an architect before joining the BBC design department in 1966.
At the BBC he worked on Doctor Who from 1975, designing sets for serials under producer Philip Hinchcliffe, and on Blake's 7, for which he designed the Liberator spacecraft. He left the BBC staff in the early 1980s and moved into feature films.
His film credits as production designer include Local Hero (1983), A Fish Called Wanda (1988), The Mighty Quinn (1989) and Fierce Creatures (1997). He was art director on The Killing Fields (1984) and received a BAFTA nomination for the 1981 television series Winston Churchill: The Wilderness Years.
