Biography
Ron Fitzgerald is an American television writer and producer. He began writing for television on the fourth season of Weeds in 2008, contributing episodes including "The Whole Blah Damn Thing" and "Little Boats". He was nominated for a Writers Guild of America Award for Best Comedy Series for his work on that season.
He joined Friday Night Lights as a writer and producer for its fourth season in 2009, writing the episode "In the Bag" and earning a WGA nomination for Best Drama Series. His other writing credits include episodes of United States of Tara, Prime Suspect, Last Resort, and Westworld. He created the series Perry Mason (2020) and has held producing roles on multiple shows, including co-executive producer on Westworld.
