Biography
Ron Vawter (9 December 1948 – 16 April 1994) was an American actor. He was a founding member of the experimental theatre company The Wooster Group and performed in most of its productions from the late 1970s until his death.
Vawter appeared in films including Born in Flames (1983), sex, lies, and videotape (1989) as a therapist, The Silence of the Lambs (1991) as Paul Krendler, Johnny Suede (1991), Philadelphia (1993) as Bob Seidman, and King of the Hill (1993). He created the one-man show Roy Cohn/Jack Smith (1992) and received an Obie Award for sustained excellence in performance.
