Biography

Rory Cochrane is an American actor. Born on 28 February 1972 in Syracuse, New York, he trained at the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York City. His early screen work included small roles in A Kiss Before Dying (1991) and Fathers & Sons (1992).

Cochrane's breakthrough came with the role of Ron Slater in Richard Linklater's Dazed and Confused (1993). He later appeared as Lucas in Empire Records (1995) and as Tim Speedle in the television series CSI: Miami (2002–2004). Subsequent film credits include Argo (2012), Oculus (2014), Black Mass (2015) and Hostiles (2017), as well as a recurring role in Yellowstone (2018–).
