Biography
Christian Bale is an English actor. He was born in Haverfordwest, Wales, on 30 January 1974.
Bale made his screen debut in the 1987 film Empire of the Sun. He gained wider recognition for his role as Patrick Bateman in American Psycho (2000) and played Batman in Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008) and The Dark Knight Rises (2012). Other notable performances include The Prestige (2006), The Fighter (2010), for which he received an Academy Award, American Hustle (2013) and Ford v Ferrari (2019).
In 2026 he appeared as Frank in The Bride!.
