Biography
Amy Adams is an American actress. Born on 20 August 1974 in Vicenza, Italy, she began her career as a dancer in dinner theatre from 1994 to 1998 before making her film debut in the comedy Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999).
She received her first Academy Award nomination for her role in Junebug (2005). Adams is known for parts in Catch Me If You Can (2002), Enchanted (2007), Doubt (2008), The Fighter (2010), The Master (2012), American Hustle (2013), Arrival (2016) and as Lois Lane in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Justice League (2017) and Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021). She has won two Golden Globe Awards.
More recently, she played the lead role credited as Mother in Nightbitch (2024) and Anna Bowden in the series Cape Fear (2026).
