Biography
Emma Thomas is a British film producer. She has produced every feature film directed by her husband Christopher Nolan since their debut collaboration on Following (1998).
Thomas studied at University College London, where she met Nolan. With him she co-founded the production company Syncopy Inc. Her credits include Memento (2000), Batman Begins (2005), The Prestige (2006), The Dark Knight (2008), Inception (2010), The Dark Knight Rises (2012), Interstellar (2014), Dunkirk (2017), Tenet (2020), Oppenheimer (2023) and The Odyssey (2026).
She received the Academy Award for Best Picture, along with BAFTA and Critics' Choice awards, for producing Oppenheimer. Thomas was appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2024 for services to film.
