Biography
Rosanna Norton was an American costume designer. Born Rosanna White on 1 October 1944 in Los Angeles County, California, she attended UCLA as a painting major and began working in film in the early 1970s.
Her credits include Badlands (1973), Phantom of the Paradise (1974), Carrie (1976), Airplane! (1980), Tron (1982), for which she shared an Academy Award nomination for Best Costume Design with Elois Jenssen, Innerspace (1987), The 'Burbs (1989), Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990), The Flintstones (1994) and Casper (1995). She joined the Costume Designers Guild in 1975 and collaborated with directors including Brian De Palma, Terrence Malick and Joe Dante. Norton died on 7 May 2025 in Los Angeles.
