Biography
Rose Abdoo, also credited as Rose Marie Abdoo, is an American actress and comedian. She was born on 28 November 1962 in Detroit, Michigan, and trained at Michigan State University, where she earned a BA in Communication in 1984 and an MFA in Acting.
Abdoo began her career in Chicago improv and sketch comedy, performing with The Second City and winning a Joseph Jefferson Award in 1991. She is known for recurring television roles including Gypsy, the local mechanic, in Gilmore Girls (2002–2007) and its 2016 revival, Señorita Rodriguez in That's So Raven (2003–2006), and Josefina in Hacks (2021–). Film credits include My Best Friend's Wedding (1997), Good Night, and Good Luck (2005), for which she received a Screen Actors Guild ensemble nomination, and voice work in the Hotel Transylvania films (2012, 2015).
