Biography

Rosie Alison is a British film producer. She joined David Heyman’s Heyday Films in 2001 after more than a decade producing and directing arts documentaries for television, including work on The South Bank Show and Grand Designs. She studied English at Keble College, Oxford.

Alison has served as producer or executive producer on several feature films and television dramas. Her credits include The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas (2008), Paddington (2014), Paddington 2 (2017), Testament of Youth (2015), The Light Between Oceans (2016), The Secret Garden (2020), Wonka (2023) and Paddington in Peru (2024). She was also a producer on BBC series such as Page Eight (2011) and The Capture (2019–).

Alison is the author of the novel The Very Thought of You (2009), which was nominated for the 2010 Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction.
