Biography

Roy Jenson was a Canadian-American actor and stunt performer. Born on 9 February 1927 in Calgary, Alberta, he later moved to Los Angeles. He attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where he played football, and briefly played professional Canadian football before entering the film industry as a stuntman in the early 1950s.

Jenson appeared in numerous films and television series from the 1950s to the 1990s, often in supporting roles as tough or menacing characters. He is known for his performances in Harper (1966), Soylent Green (1973), The Getaway (1972), Chinatown (1974) as Claude Mulvihill, The Gauntlet (1977) and Red Dawn (1984). He also worked as a stunt performer on various productions.

Jenson died on 24 April 2007 in Los Angeles, California.
