Biography
Sally Sue Beisel-Lander is an assistant director and producer. She has worked extensively as a second assistant director and first assistant director on feature films and television series.
Her film credits as second assistant director include 10 Things I Hate About You (1999), Elephant (2003), Gerry (2002), Blue Crush (2002) and Zodiac (2007). She later served as first assistant director on series including Better Things (2016–2020), Baskets (2016–2018), Mr. Corman (2021) and Moonbase 8 (2020).
Beisel-Lander has also held producer and co-producer roles on Better Things, Baskets, Mr. Corman and Moonbase 8. She shared a Directors Guild of America award for outstanding directorial achievement in movies for television for Live from Baghdad (2003).
