Biography

Sam Jaeger is an American actor and screenwriter. Born in 1977 in Ohio, he graduated from Perrysburg High School in 1995 and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Otterbein College in 1999. He began his professional career while still at college with a guest role on the television series Law & Order and later worked in theatre in New York before moving to Los Angeles.

Jaeger has appeared in films including Behind Enemy Lines (2001), Hart's War (2002), Lucky Number Slevin (2006), American Sniper (2014) and Inherent Vice (2014). On television he is known for the role of Mark Tuello in The Handmaid's Tale (2017–2025) and for Parenthood. He played Grady in the 2025 film Wolf Man and has also written and directed, including the 2011 feature Take Me Home.
