Biography
Sarah Alexander (born Sarah Smith, 3 January 1971) is an English actress. She is known for her role as Susan Walker in the BBC sitcom Coupling (2000–2004) and as Polly Creek in Jonathan Creek (2013–2016).
Alexander has appeared in other British television series including Smack the Pony (1999–2003), Green Wing (2004–2007), The Worst Week of My Life (2004–2006) and Marley's Ghosts (2015–2016). Her film credits include Stardust (2007). She trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and began performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
