Biography
Sayombhu Mukdeeprom is a Thai cinematographer. He graduated from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok and began working in the Thai film industry around 2000.
He is known for his long collaboration with director Apichatpong Weerasethakul on films including Syndromes and a Century (2006) and the Palme d’Or winner Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives (2010), as well as Memoria (2021). He has also worked extensively with Luca Guadagnino on Call Me by Your Name (2017), Suspiria (2018), Challengers (2024) and Queer (2024), and on other international projects such as Trap (2024) and Thirteen Lives (2022).
Mukdeeprom has received the Independent Spirit Award for Best Cinematography for Call Me by Your Name and Suspiria, and the Robby Müller Award in 2022.
