Biography
Sebastian Roché is a Scottish-French actor. He graduated from the French National Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1989 after studying at the Cours Florent and the École nationale supérieure des arts et techniques du théâtre. He has lived in the United States since 1992.
Roché is known for recurring roles as Mikael in The Vampire Diaries (2009) and The Originals (2013), Balthazar in Supernatural (2005), and Cardinal Michel Marivaux in The Young Pope (2016). Other credits include The Adventures of Tintin (2011), The Man in the High Castle (2015–2018), and 6 Underground (2019).
