Biography
Sev Ohanian is an American film producer and screenwriter. Born on 2 June 1987 in Hadamar, West Germany, to an Armenian family, he moved to the United States as an infant. He attended the University of California, San Diego, and the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts.
Ohanian co-wrote and produced Searching (2018) and Run (2020). He produced Missing (2023) and Sinners (2025), for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture. He is a co-founder of the production company Proximity Media, alongside Ryan Coogler and Zinzi Coogler, and has served as executive producer on films including Judas and the Black Messiah (2021) and Creed III (2023). He is married to producer Natalie Qasabian.
