Biography
Shawna Trpcic was an American costume designer. Born Shawna Leavell in Artesia, California, on 18 October 1966, she died on 4 October 2023.
She studied fashion at Otis College of Art and Design and received her first costume designer credit in 1990. Trpcic collaborated frequently with Joss Whedon on the series Firefly (2002), Angel, Dollhouse (2009) and the film Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog (2008), as well as on The Cabin in the Woods (2012) and Much Ado About Nothing (2013).
From 2019 she worked on Lucasfilm productions, serving as costume designer on The Mandalorian (seasons two and three), The Book of Boba Fett (2021) and Ahsoka (2023). She received Emmy nominations for her work on The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.
