Biography
Simon J. Ashford is a British television writer. He studied Drama at Manchester University, followed by a postgraduate diploma in Playwriting and a Master’s degree in Victorian Literature.
He has written episodes of EastEnders (1999–2002), The Bill (2003–2006), Holby City (2002–2005), Twisted Tales (2005), Robin Hood (2006–2009) and Waterloo Road (2012). Ashford served as co-showrunner and executive producer on series three of The Musketeers (2016) and contributed to the core writing team of Stan Lee’s Lucky Man (2017–2018). He has also written for Jekyll and Hyde (2015) and Young Dracula (2014).
