Biography
Andy Goddard is a Welsh director and screenwriter. Born in 1968 in Pembroke Dock, he grew up on the Isle of Skye in Scotland and studied film, photography and television at Napier University in Edinburgh.
He began his career with short films, including the BAFTA-nominated Little Sisters (1998). Goddard has directed episodes of British television series including Torchwood (2006–08), Doctor Who (2008) and Downton Abbey (2011–12). His feature films include Set Fire to the Stars (2014), which he co-wrote and directed, and A Kind of Murder (2016).
