Biography
Simon Smith is a British film and television editor. His credits include episodes of the series Andor (2022) and The Last of Us (2023), as well as Chernobyl (2019), 3 Body Problem (2024), Spaceman (2024) and the television film Help (2021).
Smith began his career as an assistant editor on British series including Utopia, Patrick Melrose and A Royal Night Out (2015). He has also directed short films and worked as a producer. He is a member of the American Cinema Editors.
For his editing on Chernobyl, Smith won a Primetime Emmy Award and a BAFTA Craft Award. His work on Andor earned an ACE Eddie Award.
