Biography
Sinéad Cusack is an Irish actress. She was born Jane Moira Cusack on 18 February 1948 in Dalkey, County Dublin. Her early stage roles were at the Abbey Theatre in Dublin, after which she joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in London in 1969.
Cusack is known for film roles including Delia Surridge in V for Vendetta (2006), Helen in Eastern Promises (2007) and Letizia Bonaparte in Napoleon (2023). On stage she has received Olivier Award nominations and won the Critics' Circle and Evening Standard Awards for her performance in Sebastian Barry's Our Lady of Sligo. She has also received two Tony Award nominations. She is married to actor Jeremy Irons.
