Biography
Sophia Lear is a television writer and producer. She began her career as a writers assistant on New Girl (2011), later serving as staff writer, story editor and executive story editor, and contributing as a writer on six episodes.
Lear has written episodes of The Unicorn (2019), Ghosts (2021), Mo (2022) and other series, and has held producing roles including co-executive producer on Ghosts and Mo. She holds a B.A. in English from Yale University (2008) and is the first cousin twice removed of Norman Lear.
