Biography
Stanley Adams (born Stanley Abramowitz) was an American actor and screenwriter. Born in New York City on 7 April 1915, he began his screen career in the early 1950s and appeared in supporting roles in films including Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961) as Rusty Trawler and Lilies of the Field (1963).
On television he guest-starred in numerous series, notably as Cyrano Jones in the Star Trek episode 'The Trouble with Tribbles' (1967) and its animated sequel. Concurrently he wrote freelance scripts for shows including Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Mannix and Star Trek, co-writing the episode 'The Mark of Gideon' (1969) with George F. Slavin. He died in Santa Monica, California, on 27 April 1977.
