Biography
Stephen J. Lineweaver is an American production designer and art director. Born in 1955, he began his career in the 1980s working as an art director on films including After Hours (1985) and Dirty Dancing (1987).
He moved into production design in the early 1990s. His credits include Jerry Maguire (1996), Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls (1995), The Girl Next Door (2004), Role Models (2008), Blades of Glory (2007), Central Intelligence (2016), A Million Ways to Die in the West (2014), and the Ted films (2012 and 2015). He has also designed for the television series The Orville (2017–2022).
Lineweaver has received one Primetime Emmy nomination.
