Biography

Stephen McNutt is a cinematographer. He served as director of photography on the television series Battlestar Galactica (2004–2009).

He began his career in New York as a first assistant camera operator. McNutt has worked on numerous television series and films, including The Dead Zone (2002), Caprica (2010), Outlander (2016–2017) and For All Mankind (2019–2022). He received a Primetime Emmy nomination for outstanding cinematography for Battlestar Galactica: Razor (2007). McNutt is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers and the Canadian Society of Cinematographers.
