Biography
Stephen Sandoval is an animation director and storyboard artist. He directed eight episodes of Futurama across its sixth and seventh seasons (2010–2013), having previously worked as a storyboard artist on the four direct-to-video films.
He has directed episodes of series including Rick and Morty (2014), Gravity Falls (2014–2016), Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure (2017–2019), Tangled: Before Ever After (2017) and The Owl House (2020). Earlier credits include storyboarding on The Simpsons Movie (2007) and directing on Xiaolin Showdown (2003–2006).
Sandoval began in comics, contributing as an artist and cover artist to titles published by Everette Hartsoe's London Night Studios in the mid-1990s.
