Biography
Steve Kahan (also credited as Stephen Kahan) was an American character actor. He was born in New York City on 6 August 1939 and died on 4 August 2019.
He appeared in fourteen films directed by his cousin Richard Donner. His first feature film role was in Superman (1978). He is best known for playing Captain Ed Murphy in the four Lethal Weapon films (1987–1998). Other credits include Predator 2 (1990) as a sergeant, Demolition Man (1993), Maverick (1994) and 16 Blocks (2006). His final screen role was in 2006.
