Biography
Steve Zuckerman is an American television and theatre director. He trained at the University of Michigan and the Yale School of Drama, and began his career directing stage productions in New York, including the Broadway transfer of Tom Topor's Nuts at the WPA Theater.
Since the late 1980s he has directed hundreds of episodes of prime-time sitcoms. He served as the primary director on Empty Nest (1988–1995), helming 127 episodes, and directed episodes of The Golden Girls (1985), Murphy Brown (1988), Friends (1994), Everybody Loves Raymond (1996), The Drew Carey Show (1995) and According to Jim (2001), among many others. He also directed the 1997 television film North Shore Fish.
