Biography
Steven Shareshian, also credited as Steve Shareshian, is a producer and head of production at Playtone, the film and television company founded by Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman.
He graduated from Swarthmore College in 1985 with degrees in economics and mathematics. Shareshian began his career in production accounting and worked as an assistant auditor on the 1990 film Cadillac Man, later serving as production accountant and associate producer before advancing to executive producer roles.
He produced the HBO miniseries John Adams (2008) and The Pacific (2010). Shareshian has executive producer or co-executive producer credits on films including My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002), The Ant Bully (2006), Larry Crowne (2011), The Circle (2017), Greyhound (2020), News of the World (2020) and A Man Called Otto (2022). He has won four Primetime Emmy Awards.
