Biography
Sumit Basu is an Indian production designer and art director. He has worked extensively in Hindi cinema since the 1990s.
Basu received production design credits on 3 Idiots (2009) and PK (2014). His other notable films include Guzaarish (2010), Rockstar (2011), Dhoom 3 (2013), Highway (2014), Tamasha (2015), Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (2013), Kaabil (2017) and Thugs of Hindostan (2018). He has collaborated with directors including Rajkumar Hirani, Imtiaz Ali, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra.
