Biography
Susan Blackwell is an American actress, writer and singer. She was born on 29 October 1969 in Dayton, Ohio, and trained at Wright State University, where she received a BFA, and the University of Minnesota, where she received an MFA.
Blackwell is best known for originating a version of herself in the musical [title of show] and its related projects. She has appeared in numerous stage productions as well as guest roles on television series including The Sopranos, Person of Interest, Succession and Master of None.
Her film credits include Changing Lanes (2002), P.S. I Love You (2007), Margin Call (2011) as Lauren Bratberg, Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014), A Most Violent Year (2014), The Post (2017) and After the Wedding (2019). She is married to Nathan Heidt.
