Biography
Susan Brown is an English actress of stage and screen. Born in Bristol, she trained at Rose Bruford College and began her career with work in British theatre, including productions with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre.
On screen she is known for roles such as Septa Mordane in the first season of Game of Thrones (2011), June in The Iron Lady (2011), Liz Roper in Broadchurch (2013), and Mrs. Bowen in the miniseries It's a Sin (2021). She has also appeared in Bridgerton, Good Omens, The Crown and Torchwood. Brown received nominations for a Tony Award and a Laurence Olivier Award for her stage performances in Angels in America and Home, I'm Darling.
