Biography
Suzy Eddie Izzard, born Edward John Izzard on 7 February 1962 in Aden, Yemen, is a British stand-up comedian and actor. Izzard began performing in the late 1980s and rose to prominence through stand-up tours including Definite Article (1996) and Dress to Kill (1998).
Izzard has appeared in films such as Velvet Goldmine (1998) as Jerry Devine, Ocean's Twelve (2004) and Ocean's Thirteen (2007) as Roman Nagel, and provided voice work in The Lego Batman Movie (2017) and Abominable (2019). Izzard is gender-fluid and has used the name Suzy since 2023 while continuing to perform professionally as Eddie Izzard.
