Biography
Teddy Newton is an American animator, voice actor and film director. Born on 3 March 1964 in Encino, California, he studied at the California Institute of the Arts.
He worked as a storyboard artist on series including 2 Stupid Dogs and Dexter's Laboratory, and on the feature The Iron Giant (1999). Newton joined Pixar in 2002, contributing character design to The Incredibles (2004) and subsequent films directed by Brad Bird. He has voiced characters including the Newsreel Narrator in The Incredibles (2004), Talon Labarthe in Ratatouille (2007), the Chatter Telephone in Toy Story 3 (2010), and additional voices in WALL·E (2008) and Up (2009).
Newton co-wrote the short Jack-Jack Attack (2005) and made his directorial debut with the Pixar short Day & Night (2010), which received an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Short Film.
