Biography
Thérèse DePrez (17 February 1965 – 19 December 2017) was an American production designer. Born and raised in Rochester, New York, she studied at the Parsons School of Design in New York City and worked on several off-Broadway productions before her first film credit on The Refrigerator (1991).
She is known for her work on films including Happiness (1998), Arlington Road (1999), High Fidelity (2000), How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003), Dark Water (2005), Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium (2007), Black Swan (2010), Stoker (2013), Out of the Furnace (2013), Premium Rush (2012) and The Drop (2014). Her production design on Black Swan earned an Art Directors Guild Award and a BAFTA nomination. She also designed sets for David Bowie's A Reality Tour in 2003.
