Biography
Tim Ives is a cinematographer. He served as director of photography on the Netflix series Stranger Things (2016–2019) and the film Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret. (2023). He was initially attached as cinematographer on Scream 7 (2026).
Ives began his career in music videos and commercials before transitioning to narrative projects, including the HBO series Girls and the pilot for Mr. Robot. He is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers and has received Primetime Emmy nominations for his work on Stranger Things.
