Biography

Tom Lenk is an American actor. Born Thomas Loren Lenk on 16 June 1976 in Camarillo, California, he graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts.

He is best known for his recurring role as Andrew Wells in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (2000–2003), appearing in twenty-seven episodes, and for reprising the character in two episodes of the spin-off Angel (2004). He has also appeared in guest roles on series including Nip/Tuck (2009) as Corey, House (2005) as Allen, How I Met Your Mother (2006) as Scott, Six Feet Under (2004) as a young poet and Bones (2015) as Chris Winfelder.

His film credits include small parts in Boogie Nights (1997), Transformers (2007), Argo (2012) and The Cabin in the Woods (2012). Lenk has worked in theatre, including a Broadway run in Rock of Ages and tours with the European cast of Grease, and has written three plays.
