Biography
Valene Kane is a Northern Irish actress. She was born and raised in Newry, County Down, and trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London after joining the National Youth Theatre at the age of 15.
She gained prominence for her role as Rose Stagg in the BBC series The Fall (2013–2016). Her film credits include '71 (2014), Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016) as Lyra Erso, Profile (2018) and Nowhere Special (2020). Other television roles include appearances in Thirteen (2016), Gangs of London (2020–2022) and Blue Lights (2023–2024). She has also worked in theatre, including a production of Miss Julie (2013).
