Biography

Victor Du Bois is a film and television editor and director. His early credits include assistant editor roles on House (1985) and Square Dance (1987), followed by work as editor and director on the series Thirtysomething (1987–1991).

He has edited feature films including additional editing on Braveheart (1995), Anna Karenina (1997), The Last Samurai (2003) and Never Back Down (2008). Television editing credits include Elementary (2012), Halt and Catch Fire (2014), Fear the Walking Dead (2015–2017) and Penny Dreadful: City of Angels (2020). He also directed an episode of My So-Called Life (1994).

Du Bois received three Primetime Emmy nominations, including for outstanding editing on Thirtysomething.
