Biography
Victor Lyndon was a British film producer and production manager. Born in London in 1918, he worked in the British film industry from the late 1940s, taking early roles in production management and as associate producer on films including Johnny on the Run (1953) and Cast a Dark Shadow (1955).
He is best known for his collaborations with Stanley Kubrick, serving as associate producer on Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) and 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968). Other credits include associate producer on Darling (1965) and producer on Station Six-Sahara (1963) and The Optimists (1973).
Lyndon died in Surrey in 1996.
