Biography

Wayne Rose is a Canadian director and producer. Born on 13 May 1962 in Red Deer, Alberta, he graduated from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and began his career in Vancouver, working as a storyboard artist, stunt performer, actor, assistant director and production manager.

He directed second units on Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess in New Zealand. Rose has directed episodes of Battlestar Galactica (2004), Smallville, The 100, Caprica, True Justice and Blood & Treasure. His Battlestar Galactica episode "Blood on the Scales" was named one of TV Guide's Top 100 Television Episodes of All Time. Related projects include an Emmy-winning short and a Streamy Award-winning web series.
