Biography
Anne Cofell Saunders is an American television writer and producer. She graduated from Northwestern University and earned an MFA in playwriting from Ohio University. After teaching English in Japan and travelling, she began her television career as an assistant and head researcher on the Fox series 24, where she received her first freelance writing credit.
She was subsequently hired as a staff writer on Battlestar Galactica (2004), contributing episodes including "Pegasus", for which she received a Hugo Award nomination and a shared Peabody Award. Saunders later worked as a writer and producer on Chuck and the final two seasons of Smallville. She served as co-executive producer on Revolution, winning a Saturn Award, and held similar roles on Timeless, The Boys and Star Trek: Discovery.
